Terms of Sale

Last updated 30 July 2026

These terms apply to every purchase made on this website from Katherine Cerrato. Please read them before you buy.

1. The seller

Katherine Cerrato
Einar Hansens Esplanad 29
211 13 Malmö
Sweden
Email: contact.thekath@gmail.com

2. What you are buying

Our products are digital cookbooks delivered as PDF files. They are not physical books and nothing is shipped to you. A pre-order means the cookbook is not finished yet and will be delivered to your email address on its launch date.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro on the product page. Any applicable VAT is shown at checkout before you confirm your payment. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. A contract is formed once your payment is confirmed.

4. Delivery

  • Available cookbooks are delivered immediately: a download button appears on the confirmation page and a private download link is emailed to you.
  • Your download link is permanent — bookmark it and re-download the file whenever you need it.
  • Pre-ordered cookbooks are emailed to the address you used at checkout on the launch date.
  • If a download does not work, email us and we will resend your link.

5. How you may use the cookbook

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to read, print, and use the cookbook for your own private use. You may not resell, share, upload, republish, or distribute the file or its recipes, in whole or in part, without written permission. All content remains the intellectual property of Katherine Cerrato.

6. Cancellation and refunds

As a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right of withdrawal, with a specific exception for digital content delivered immediately. The details, including how it applies to instant downloads and pre-orders, are set out on our Right of Withdrawal page.

7. Health disclaimer

Our cookbooks, articles, and calculators are for general information and education only. They are not medical or nutritional advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. Calculator results are estimates based on standard formulas and your own inputs. Always speak to your doctor before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. You use this information at your own risk.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law and disputes

Swedish law applies, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, EU consumers can use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and generally not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
